"One way attending the State Roadeo has benefited me is getting to meet other drivers from this great State of Alabama. Learning different ways that each transit system operates apart from BRATS but also learning how similar transit systems really are, especially when it comes to dealing with passengers and how we meet those needs of each individual. Knowing that for some, the transit system may be their only transportation and how each driver takes their job serious and enjoys what they do. Serving others. The training classes help me to learn and recognize a situation that I may encounter, how to respond in a positive professional manner to the best of my ability. And the obstacle course helps me improve on maneuvering my bus when I am in the real world and I get into tight spots."
